How reliable are the sources?

almost every single citation is to the same two books, neither of which seems to be a scholarly text by any means. They make the claims in the article seem made up by modern practitioners. The article needs better sourcing. Mastakos (talk) 16:37, 14 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
