Notability + downtime

[edit]

Is this a notable article anymore? The site has been down for a while now, as aniwey decided not to renew the domain. It still lives at candybox2.github.io for the time being. —FrostyBeep —Preceding undated comment added 18:00, 15 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes, this project is still maintained by me under this organization I had a talk with aniwey, he agreed placing of game and source code on Github. You can verify this by checking added links to this project on his website. Unfortunately he don't want to develop this project anymore and didn't accept my invite to Github organization. So development continued only by the community. —Kvaps (talk) 10:40, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Notability doesn't lapse even if a work becomes lost. If Candy Box! was notable in 2013, it is still notable today. This is the natural result of guidelines like WP:Notnews. The fact that the sequel got picked up by publications too, and that it got mentioned at 2014 awards clearly shows that it meets our encyclopedic notability guidelines ^_^ ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 12:15, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
