In Sanskrit manuscripts of the Bhaiṣajyaguruvaidūryaprabhārāja-sūtra, the name of "Moonlight Bodhisattva" is rendered as "Candravairocana."

"ekakaḥ sūryavairocano nāma, dvitīyaścandravairocanaḥ"

If we are going to stick to "Candraprabha" then it should be made clear that this is a reconstructed name, as is done in the 20th century Japanese academic sources that tried to construct it. (such as Mochizuki, Mikkyo daijiten) VegetableTempura (talk) 05:07, 25 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
