I find this article informative. However, let me point out a few clarifications.

All of Candijay's 21 barangays have Elementary Schools. Barangay Panas have 2, namely: Panas Elementary School and Pangpang Elementary School, so the town has a total of 22 Elementary Schools. This is apart from the Pre-schools established in all barangays through the Early childhood Development Program. Poblacion has around 5 pre-schools. Also, the town has 7 high schools, which is more than the average, considering the number of barangays and students. A second Tertiary learning Institution is on the planning stage to be established here in Candijay.

It is my personal opinion that Candijay is not one of the least progressive towns of Bohol, depending, I think on what parameters that statement was based upon in the article.

But I am very pleased that our natural resources were generously praised.
