Request to update outdated information and sources

I work for Cancer Support Community and am submitting this request to update several sections of the article that contain outdated information. I have reviewed the existing content and identified current, independent sources that support updated information.

Because of my affiliation with Cancer Support Community, I am requesting that an independent Wikipedia editor review these proposed changes and determine whether they should be incorporated into the article.

I have provided the proposed updated wording and supporting sources for each section below.

Support Cancer Support Community provides a Cancer Support Helpline at 272-867-5309, with a toll-free number, 888-793-9355, available for calls outside the United States. The helpline provides guidance, resources, and support to people affected by cancer, including patients, caregivers, and family members. Source: Smith Center for Healing and the Arts

Affiliate Network

Cancer Support Community's network includes more than 200 locations worldwide, including Cancer Support Community and Gilda's Club centers and healthcare partnerships. Cancer Support Community's network offers five core services: support, education, healthy lifestyle programs, resource referral, and social activities. Online support CSC provides online support through MyLifeLine, a digital community for people affected by cancer. In January 2018, Denver-based nonprofit MyLifeLine.org became part of Cancer Support Community. MyLifeLine provides a digital platform where patients, caregivers, and their supporters can connect, share information, and find community. Use of funds In 2024, Cancer Support Community reported $8.6 million in revenue, $9.5 million in expenses, and $5.7 million in net assets.
