Christopher McCandless - wrong information
[edit]I think the part about Christopher McCandless should be removed from this page (and added to the Lathyrism or Oxalyldiaminopropionic acid page). It is more likely he died from Lathyrism. I added some links

Comparision with arginine
[edit]The text in the introduction says "It is structurally related to the proteinogenic α-amino acid L-arginine, the sole difference being the replacement of a methylene bridge (−CH2− unit) in arginine with an oxa group (i.e., an oxygen atom) in canavanine.", but the image showing the comparison of the chemical structures also has an "NH2" in canavanine but an "NH" in arginine (on the upper left).
