@Starrysecton - Here is a summary of the MOS:LINKSTYLE section of MOS:LINK: it’s preferred to only link the city (e.g. just Sydney, Australia instead of both being linked). Less commonly used proper names/jargon/slang should be linked to give context to the reader, as well as related articles (like “see Fourier series for relevant background. Generally used words such as education, violence, aircraft, river, and animation shouldn’t be linked; this is the same for common units of measurement, and dates (if irrelevant).
