A recent revision claims that Cameron's parents are named "Molly Rudin Winter" and "Stewart Winter." I think the editor meant Molly Roden Winter, who is a writer featured in this NYT article, where her and her husband's professions match those described in this other NYT article, which was originally sourced. The former article's mention of her eldest son's age matches that of Cameron (and again, the name and professions feel like more than mere coincidence), but I cannot find a source explicitly saying that Molly and Cameron are mother and son.
Hello, I was the one who made the edit. Thanks for correcting the spelling, that was my bad. I didn't get it from the tweet, I know someone who is personally friends with Molly and Stewart, and happens to know their son is in Geese. Furthermore, we know that his mother is a writer, of which Molly is, and the same Stewart who is married to that Molly is a composer, which we also know from interviews. It is the same Stewart Winter featured in the NYT article. I know it's not the most stellar evidence of all time, but, after I heard that from the person who knows Molly Winter, I went and fact checked to see if it lines up with what Cameron has said about his parents and it does. We won't know for sure until someone outright confirms it, but I think this is a pretty solid foundation to consider that this IS in fact the names of his parents.

A lot of the references that are being edit-warred back into the article are talking about the concept of creating buzz/virality in general, not just specifically Geese/Winter. Might they be undue here? SarekOfVulcan (talk)14:25, 15 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
