Redirect from Kielmeyeroideae

[edit]

Kielmeyeroideae redirects here. Should it not rather redirect to Kielmeyera? Hans Dunkelberg (talk) 15:00, 10 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

No. The former subfamily's circumscription contained much more than Kielmeyera. Having now been assembled into the Calophyllaceae, the subfamily name should redirect to the family many of its members are now a part of. Rkitko (talk) 15:31, 10 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thank You for this hint! - Do You think it is sufficient just to redirect in this way? Or should one not better mention in what way there were included those earlier members of the Kielmeyeroideae into the family? I, at least, who am not a biologist, would have been thankful for finding such an explanation already in the article, itself. I don't think I should insert such a remark, myself, as I only know of this shift from You. Hans Dunkelberg (talk) 15:41, 10 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
