Calley Means is a grifting charlatan
[edit]Whoever gives a shit about this page should add to it that this guy is a fabulist who has created a false backstory to grift off of a paranoid population in a society of low trust thanks to the I'm-just-asking-questions crowd. This grifter is setting health policy with absolutely no requisite knowledge of how to do so. He was an assistant to Steve Schmidt who can account for Calley's entire career, and it's not at all what he claims. Steve explains in detail on his YouTube and in an article in vanity fair. Just google it. People should probably know about that. I'm too lazy, so maybe some motivated nerd might take the lead. 172.113.85.207 (talk) 17:39, 2 September 2025 (UTC)
- I have found and added the Vanity Fair article and added text to explain that he was not registered as a lobbyist until founding End Chronic Disease in 2024. Someone else can add the link to Steve Schmidt, as i'm not the most eloquent writer. Forivall (talk) 19:04, 19 September 2025 (UTC)
2024 USG employee?
[edit]Can't find a source on that. Did I miss a reference? https://arstechnica.com/health/2025/10/the-means-siblings-darlings-of-maha-both-out-of-the-trump-admin-for-now/ Oathed (talk) 09:28, 31 October 2025 (UTC)
Removing "is an American lobbyist" line
[edit]Despite what Calley Means keeps telling the world, he has never, and still is not a registered lobbyist in the USA. Annoyingly, I can't link to the query, but using the House's database (Search Registrant Information) to search his name, which does not yield any results. I imagine it never will. I propose the removal of the line stating he "is an American lobbyist", as it is not currently true, and has never been true. The reference that this quote links to, is an interview with Politico, where Calley Means pushes this story himself, regarding being a lobbyist for The Coca-Cola Company. Can we not use gated content?
[edit]I wanted to know what support had the claim of conspiracy theorist be attributed to and I can't get the full article unless I sign up for a stupid account. This should be widely referenced. Please another source or remove the opinion. ~2026-27255-63 (talk) 00:59, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
