Definition
[edit]I don't know where I got the impression, but I thought call ducks were of all sizes and colors, and were called "call" ducks because they were used (like decoys, which have been used for 1,000 years, long before Columbus, in North America) to lure wild ducks to hunters. I remember collecting pictures of them from the Internet, and believe they're particularly bred and loved in England. Aren't any Wikipedians interested? Let's broaden this article if I'm right. [edit]I might try to do a bit more work on this page – tightening up the text, sources and citations, expanding and so on. If I were to do so I would change the remaining in-text references format to the list-defined system – references defined in the reference section, not in the text – and to hand-written refs (without cite templates), both changes for the sake of clarity and simplicity.
