Updated infobox figures and operations data to fiscal year 2022–23 from the official Statistical Report (1,835.1 permanent and 1,543.5 temporary positions; 83,899,835 total visits; $112.8 million revenue; $492.8 million field-operations expenditures; 280 units totaling 1,650,336.16 acres (667,867.35 ha)). Added budget figure $1.019 billion for fiscal year 2024–25 from the enacted Governor's Budget. Added a "Recent expansion" subsection covering Dos Rios State Park (June 2024) and Governor Newsom's April 2026 announcement of State Parks Forward, with three planned Central Valley parks (Feather River Park, San Joaquin River Parkway, Dust Bowl Camp). Refined the unit-type breakdown per the SSR (89/62/53/33/16/9/1/1/1/15 = 280) and split State Vehicular Recreation Areas into a separate subsection. Expanded the California Office of Historic Preservation subsection per WP:SUMMARY with a {{Main}} link, full program list, and brief disaster-recovery and Five Views (1988) coverage.
