What this article needs

[edit]

This article has a lede section which is abstruse and recondite. I have attempted to fix this, but it is still a long way from being accessible to the general reader. It needs a lede that ANYONE with a basic understand of science could understand, and it still lacks this. I would do it myself, but I am no expert on the subject nor even a practiced novice. Am hoping someone with the right technical skill and patience can rewrite this lede into something digestible by a more general audience. Someday. Soon. Purpose of this article

[edit]

The wikipedia page on the plasma membrane Ca2+ ATPase is essentially the same as this article, but of much higher quality. Modern journal articles mean the plasma membrane calcium ATPase when referring to calcium pumps, so I'm not exactly sure what this article's even supposed to be. Maybe this page should redirect to the plasma membrane calcium ATPase page. Elephantsofearth (talk) 02:23, 28 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
