- You wrote 'strongly suggest' and 'basically disproven', both having some remaining doubts in it. The authors write 'indicative of a stellar, not substellar object' and 'is instead better fit by contaminants such as', both also including remaining doubts, so I assume the 'disproven' needs a confirmation, not the opposite, but who am I ...
- It depends whom you follow:
- In 2020: 'Subsequent analysis of its colors showed that it is a background star.'
- In 2020: 'The planetary status of this directly imaged object has been disputed by Lee & Chiang'
- In 2021: 'but see Lee & Chiang 2018, for a different interpretation'
- In 2022: 'an additional wide companion planet candidate'
