There is an external link on the Intermetrics article (https://web.archive.org/web/20020806201057/https://www.whysheep.com/i2/daf-history2.html) that refers to this as "CMS-4, the proposed new language for the Navy". "Naturally, it is desired that the portions of the CMS-2 software literature which are valid and current remain usable, without requiring the complete reprogramming exercise which so often is necessary. A particular language extension is distinguished: referred to as CS-4, this extension forms the target language for a translator for existing CMS-2 programs."
