Polarisation
[edit]I’ve been trying to find out what the current Czech, Belgian and French standards say about the polarisation of CEE 7/5, but they’re all hidden behind paywalls costing several hundred euros. It’s really frustrating, because it would be great to know what actually applies now and what the trend is — are we seeing a move towards greater harmonisation with the live conductor on the right? - I understand and share the frustration! Though for this specific topic, I think it doesn't matter all that much, since appliances these days inevitably use CEE 7/7 plugs (if not contour or Europlugs) which also fit into Schuko sockets and so won't support polarization in any case.
