Regarding the manufacturers, the article is a bit outdated. Since then, several things happened.

Lawsuit Domosys vs. Intellon

Domosys Corporation commenced an arbitration proceeding against Intellon (Case No. 50 T 117 00085 99). Following that, Domosys abandoned their CEBus product line to develop a new power-line communication technology called PowerBUS™ RHINO[1]
