CDJ

The article states that a CDJ refers to any CD player with a platter and Scratching capabilites, but CDJ only refers to Pioneer. A Numark CD player is called a CDX and a Denon CD Player has the prefix DN-S. I removed that statement. Thedjatclubrock :) (T/C) 15:30, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
The article also states, "CDJ is a term used to describe a CD player that allows analogue control of music from CDs".[neutrality is disputed] The term CDJ is a term used to describe a line of CD controllers from Pioneer. by this definition, there are many controllers by manufacturers other than Pioneer that would be called CDJs. In addition, it states, "...though the term (CDJ) is now used generically to describe any CD player designed for DJs' use" [neutrality is disputed]. CDJ may be used generically among Pioneer users, but is by no means generic in the DJ community at large. For example, someone interested in a Numark NDX900 Controller (A DJ controller that uses CDs) is very unlikely to call it an NDX900 Controller CDJ. - This is very subjective opinion as all manufacturers including Pioneer DJ refer to their players as 'CD player' (or 'Multi Player' recently). This is a definitely misleading article.Iiiked (talk) 05:51, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
