[edit]Question: most sources say "CC41" stood for "Civilian Clothing '41". However, some say that it stood for "Controlled Commodity '41" or "Clothing Control '41" Does anyone have an authoritative cite for which was the intended meaning, or were one or the other meanings produced as a backronym? -- Elbonienne (talk) 01:00, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

Addition of content to article
[edit]There have been some excellent dress historical publications concerning the Utility Clothing Scheme, and design historical writings on Utility furniture, which I would love to incorporate into this article! Addressing overall content of the article, including adding references, while therefore making it the best it can be, this would also contribute to WikiProject Fashion, and WikiProject United Kingdom to which the article is listed as ‘of interest’ to.
