Tert-butyl effect diagram?
[edit]About the reaction scheme under the heading "tert-butyl effect", I believe the product is incorrect, as there is an extra carbon atom present. The reaction as stated would form a 6- and 4-membered ring, not a 6- and 5-membered ring as shown. There is a carbon atom missing in the starting material.
Does anyone else agree or am I wrong?
