Did these things not formerly have a psychiatric use as well? Danceswithzerglings (talk) 02:42, 18 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think there is some potential if you go about this page in a non-historical way. Clearly there was no ancient use for the butterfly net, or if so, it is no where to be found on the internet. However, you could talk of the recreational use and the construction.Alpolicicchio (talk) 13:45, 26 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Merge?

[edit]

There doesn't seem to be much potential here. I don't think the red links to similar nets are good ideas either. Perhaps one on insect collecting nets or methods would be better. Richard001 (talk) 08:16, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've merged this article and sweep net into Insect_collecting#Nets. Kaldari (talk) 17:33, 10 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

For what there is to find about Butterfly nets, I think you are doing a great job of finding different information to add in. The picture was a nice touch! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jedziedzic (talkcontribs) 13:45, 26 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

I think you should add in more information about where one cuold find a butterfly net, as well as maybe good places to use butterfly nets. that would be a great little imput! :) --Jedziedzic (talk) 16:07, 30 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

I put in stuff like that and wikipedia took it off because it 'wan't relevant'! but ill try again. thanks Jenny! Alpolicicchio (talk) 13:19, 4 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
