General interest
[edit]Basic math is very important to all businesses, and more advanced math is very important to many businesses. This article mainly describes curricula. I added a brief introduction as to why these curricula are important, but I think it would be very helpful if readers saw right away that basic math is of daily importance to businesses. I also think it might be helpful if the article didn't treat basic business math as if it's not as important as "real" math. --SueHay 17:51, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
Business calculus
[edit]It would be of interest (to me, at least) to know what sort of calculus is taught as part of a "Business mathematics" course in the USA. The article mentions only the exclusion of the calculus of trigonometric functions. Dbfirs 08:48, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
