From the descriptions in both articles, the club depicted from the New York Metropolitan Museum looks to actually be an Ula. You wouldn't be able to use that as a striking weapon to much effect in anything other than a murder attempt against an unarmed opponent. Contrast it with the 19th century picture of the bulibuli, which shows a practical stick fighting weapon. Boynamedsue (talk) 17:49, 20 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
