This article states that "air ferns" can also be the hydrozoan, Sertularia argentea, and cites http://www.habitas.org.uk/marinelife/index.html (presumably meant to point to http://www.habitas.org.uk/marinelife/species.asp?item=D6760, the specific page for S. argentea), but I can find no reference to them being sold as "air ferns."
