You should mention the ethnic cleansing of the entire Croatian community of Bugojno during the Croat-muslem war! More than 15.000 people were expelled, many of them raped, tortured and killed.

The fact that 40% of the population of the Bugojno municipality vanquished has to be mentioned!

This is no excuse for the crimes committed by Croatians in other area's to muslem civilians but the truth is the truth as has to be written down!!

It is important to remember that every ethnicity in the city of Bugojno enurded tremendous hardship and every person there was affected by the conflict. Unfortunately, the effects of the war are still present as many people continue to live in poverty, the unemployment rate is alarming and government is as ineffective as ever. I made an edit to the economy portion of this page, underscoring how the city's industry lay in ruin as more and more people are investing in their land to earn a living. So while it is important to remember what happened in Bugojno and Bosnia in general, this should not prevent us from taking steps forward and improving the well-being of every citizen regardless of their ethnicity.
