Bugatti 16C Galibier and engine version discussion.

[edit]

Today I edited the page to include a link to the Bugatti 16C Galibier concept car in the applications section. However, I then looked at the history of edits and saw that it had previously been removed the article by @Hansen Sebastian due to the Galibier using a twin supercharged version of the engine, rather than the quad turbo version present in most other variations.

However, the Audi Rosemeyer and Bentley Hunaudières are both still listed in the article despite using naturally aspirated versions of the engine. Either consistency must be maintained and they need to be removed as well, or the Galibier should be added. I feel removing the Rosemeyer and Hunaudières does a disservice to those looking into the history of the WR16 engine family used by the Volkswagen Group. It might make more sense to create sub-headings for different versions of the engine and their uses. Intergalactic Binman (talk) 12:08, 6 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
