Top speed

At present it states that the top speed (which is first and foremost a projected speed since the plane never flew) would be 550 mph.

This seems highly unrealistic. It would mean that it would break the world speed record for piston engined aircraft by a hefty 22 miles an hour.

Considering the power and weight of the craft I'd say it could be pretty fast provided the aerodynamics are sound, but most likely nowhere near this number. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.26.74.76 (talk) 00:34, 31 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
