[edit]

I came across an article in American Libraries Magazine about an issue arising from the specific type of coating used in library bound books roughly 40 years ago. It had some good detail and information on the specific coatings used at the time, why they were changed, and also some details on humidity and its effect on these bindings.

I'm not logged in right now, but if anyone wishes to have a read through this source:

-and add something in, please do. --Ineffablebookkeeper (not logged in)  Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.22.253.211 (talk) 17:41, 3 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Is this a fig-leaf for an ad?

[edit]

the last three paragraphs read like an ad, taking an otherwise random diversion into the uses of a specific US product, whose brand name appears helpfully in the photo of a swatch beside these three paragraphs.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.187.215.125 (talk) 14:29, 7 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
