Publication

[edit]

Good afternoon,

It's more or less 3 months since this Draft is in the Sandbox. I wondered if it was because the title "Brunsviga" already exists on the Net and if I had to change this title - which is not so easy ? Or else, do you know whether it's possible to publish this draft ?

thank you for your answer; best regards. Thémisté (talk) 11:58, 18 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Thémisté sorry you got stuck in AfC for so long. I think it's a combination of what you said and the fact that the references are in German and many of them are offline. Did you translate this from the article on French wikipedia? -- asilvering (talk) 06:32, 23 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Good morning Asilvering, thank you very much for your reply. Sure I was worried. As an historian, I worked for some months on the history on the brand collecting information as well in German sources, books libraries, museums, and so on. Then I wrote the French version (I'm a french guy, nobody is perfect :)) and I paid a translator to synthesize the page in English. So do you think the title has to be changed ? I guess now things are not "in my hands"? Best regards Thémisté (talk) 08:39, 25 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Thémisté, the title doesn't need to be changed, it's fine. But when you translate from one wikipedia to another, you need to attribute the translation: see WP:HOWTRANS for instructions. I will fix this one, so don't worry about it, but if you have any more translations done in the future, make sure to say so in the first edit summary. Thanks for the article! -- asilvering (talk) 18:07, 25 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Asilvering Oh, thank you Asilvering, if it happens again of course I'll attribute it ! and thank you very much for your comment Best regardsThémisté (talk) 07:03, 26 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
