Bombardier train factory

It's still there, but now owned by Alstom since 2020. The factory is at Open Location Code 56QH+X5 Bruges, Belgium. They also made forklift trucks, under contract for TCM in the late 1990s. Anon user (talk) 09:44, 21 October 2025 (UTC)

Bruges is a Dutch-speaking city, which should be made immediately clear in lead

Further to my comment on Talk page of the article Belgium: Too many English Wikipedia articles about Belgium fail to mention whether a city/region's inhabitants speak Dutch, French, German, or if the area is part of officially bilingual Brussels. Such a tagline in this article's lead would be helpful to many English-speakers. (After all, we use the French term "Bruges", without exception, and pronounce it as in French.) No, the Dutch pronunciation guide at the beginning of the article does not make the city's linguistic status clear (it's just linguistic noise). I suggest a direct mention in very first sentence: "...largest city in the Dutch-speaking province of West Flanders..." Thanks. Mason.Jones (talk) 16:46, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
