Judicial Review

[edit]

The section about the criticism of judicial review seems wrong on its face. Ackerman is not a critic but a supporter of judicial review, which in his view enforces the commitments of "We the people" in their "Constitutional moments", and is therefore fully compatible with, and indeed necessary (according to him) to, democracy and popular sovereignty. This is very different, almost opposite, from Waldron's position on the issue. Moreover, the whole section reads a bit like advertisement for Sandrine Baume's book.

I went to Yale Law School. Carol Rose, who is no longer on the faculty (she now lives in Arizona), is not related to Bruce Ackerman or Susan Rose-Ackerman. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.38.165.160 (talk) 05:51, 19 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
