Dates
[edit]Hello all, is there any reason why the dates and access-dates are in Year-month-day format, rather than DMY? I only ask because every other HS2 article (well, most, Washwood Heath depot being another YMD format) are all in DMY. I was going to format some of the cites which have bare urls, and my automatic templates default to dmy. Just asking. Regards and thanks. The joy of all things (talk) 21:03, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
- Fixed. See the two templates I added at the very start of the article. One tells templates, where appropriate, to use British spelling; the other tells the page to format dates as DMY. - Good point. however, I think that discussion only applies to international articles, e.g. where it is about a topic that is not obviously associated with any particular country. HS2 rolling stock is very clearly a British-related topic, whereas something like biscuit or dandelion isn't. Removal of Content
