Possible change to the title of this article

This article is currently named in accordance the Wikipedia:WikiProject UK Railways naming conventions for British rolling stock allocated a TOPS number. A proposal to change this convention and/or its scope is being discussed at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject UK Railways#Naming convention, where your comments would be welcome.

Updating article

I am trying to update the article. Do we need to keep all the history? For example "During 2011, 56312 was repainted into the same grey livery as 311, but with advertising for the National Railway Museum's forthcoming 'Railfest 2012' event displayed on the body side (this has since been removed)". Ghana

Maybe because there is a bit of additional information that most given sources do not mention, but some self-published media do mention it, which is not allowed on Wikipedia to put citations having sources originating from self-published media due to the guidelines. 120Hz USB type C HDMI cable cord (talk) 11:12, 8 July 2026 (UTC)

I found one source about both of the locomotives being confirmed the class 56302 and 56094. The source comes from the railway news website titled "The Railway Hub" with the recent topic about class 56s being exported to Ghana, on this topic it is mentioned that 56302 and 56094 were prepared for export by Boden Rail Engineering. Unfortunately it's behind a paywall, but Modern Railways confirms that 094 and 302 are indeed the locomotives that were exported.
