Siblings

[edit]

A bit confused as to how Brenda was the youngest of nine children, was born in 1946, but her parents didn't marry until 1944? They were Roman Catholics, did they really have several children out of wedlock? 2602:306:BDF0:ADC0:AD57:DBB5:2D12:27A4 (talk) 05:48, 13 February 2015 (UTC) HannahReply

The article already made it clear that her parents were engaged for twenty years before they married, and that by the time Brenda was born her three eldest siblings had left home. I don't see a reason for confusion unless you believe that it's not likely that several children were born before the couple married. 2600:1700:EA01:1090:9E0:6D93:31F2:FB35 (talk) 07:14, 17 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Source for TV show

[edit]

It shows "The Dumping Ground" in the list of TV shows Brenda was in, but there is no record/reference in either the show's wikipedia page or IMDB listing her name. Is there a way to get a ref to prove she was in that show? Or should it be deleted until one can be found? Hotgardener (talk) 20:51, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Poorly written

[edit]

The early life part is bad... e.g. "The family lived in poor circumstances at their maternal grandmother's home"- whose maternal grandmother? Blethyn's, presumably, since no one relative could be 'maternal grandmother' to both of Blethyn's parents and their children...
