[edit]@Arnoutf:, thanks for the generous rating! I also saw the edit summary saying there is more. One thing I want to add soon is more about the role of the German government and population. - The article seems well written, and largely complete. Not all articles need to be long (in the end this case is a footnote in WWII aftermath although it kept resurging in Dutch media till all four died). Not all articles need to go through many iterations to be worthwhile and this is one of the most mature early articles I have encountered so far - so thank you for the work done. I am no expert - but there must be some details about the debate the case sparked in the Netherlands and perhaps linked to the Dutch stance on life imprisonment (which has been without parole for a long time).
