anti-Israel propaganda
[edit]The whole article seems to have been taken from the anti-Israel propaganda of the boycott movements. It is all written from the anti-Israel point of view. 3 Of 4 references of the introductory paragraph, belongs to Barghouti, the founder of BDS. The fourth, unsurprisingly, is also anti-Israel. The article purports to engage in a campaign by the Israeli government, with no reference from the government. Only from organizations that call for a boycott of Israel. Organtizsion that some countries have outlawed because of their antisemitic views. ℬ𝒜ℛ (talk) 13:11, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- Almost all the sources listed in the article are just unreliable. The external links section is a joke. Random videos and a link to some wordpress blog are invalid and should be deleted. As Bar mentioned, the article also fails to bring sources from Israeli government itself (MOFA for example), and lacks NPOV. HiyoriX (talk) 19:46, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- There are enough sources to meet GNG but I think this material (suitably pruned) would sit better in Public diplomacy of Israel (it is referred to there), the project itself does not seem to have much current coverage, seems to have died around 5 years or so ago? Introduction omitting context?
[edit]The article introduction omits important context on ‘Brand Israel’, specifically its use to deflect against accusations of colonial behaviour, which is mentioned in the provided source Puar, 2011. 137.222.229.14 (talk) 07:11, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
Homophobia
[edit]I am not so sure whether "contrasting it with the ... homophobic ... surrounding nations" played a major role in this campaign. What do you think? NearEMPTiness (talk) 18:24, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
