Article split due to conflicting definition

[edit]

A name has already been given for the second listed definition of brainrot: digital dementia. However, the term usually used by the internet ("brainrot") usually means slang in the 2024 range (ex.: "rizz", "ohio", "aura", "fanum tax", "maxxing", "son"), Skibidi Toilet and its name being endlessly repeated, Italian brainrot and Soviet brainrot. Maybe we could split this article into Brain rot and Digital dementia? ~2026-52251-45 (talk) 20:46, 1 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

It could also be worth expanding the problematic social media use article to cover any "brain rot" or "digital dementia" angle that it's currently missing. Belbury (talk) 09:23, 2 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
