He was scouted by the Green Bay Packers at TSU; I would change "at TSU" to something like "while at college". Just get rid of the duplicate "at TSU" in back-to-back sentences
territorial draft, but did not sign with them comma isn't needed
Green Bay Packers should be linked in the Professional career section

... that when being visited by an NFL scout, college football player Boyd Jones was acting as a coach since the normal coach was missing?
Source: GB Press Gazette ("Packer scout Tom Tipps recalls that when he went to see Jones, the offensive line coach at the school was missing and Jones, a four-year starter at tackle, was help-ing coach the younger players.")
Overall: Expanded from 256 B to 2353 B (9.19x) seven days before nom. Everything else looks good. @BeanieFan11: You may wanna change "missing" to "absent" in the hook per the article (and I'm preapproving that one to save bureaucracy), but consider that optional. ミラP@Miraclepine21:09, 26 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
I'd think they mean the same thing (the source uses "missing" as well), but here's ALT1 ... that when being visited by an NFL scout, college football player Boyd Jones was acting as a coach since the normal coach was absent? The promoter can choose which to use. BeanieFan11 (talk) 21:11, 26 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
