[edit]- what are they made from?
- are there different shapes? tradeoffs?
- how are they attached to the ship?
- how do they change steering and maneuverability?
- seems short compared to the rest of what's above the main deck. better results or diminishing returns on taller shields?
- does the coating affect its effectiveness at moving air?
- windtunnel analyses?
- better if they were built into ships instead of added on?
- experiments in reducing drag with counterparts on ship abovedeck sides, top, and stern?
