Ffestiniog v Festiniog

I have changed the sub-header to read Festiniog Railway, as during the period covered by the attached paragraph, the company was known only by this name

The use of double Ff did not commence until later, and is still, to this day, only a marketing name, as opposed to the operational name

Topsy

Topsy was built in the Boston Lodge Works, but not for the Festiniog Railway, but Charles Easton Spooners private track. As such it does not belong on a list of Locos Built for the Festiniog. See article at The FR Wiki --Keith 19:54, 6 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
