I recommend you

[edit]

I recommend you do something with the reference to third-oldest ballpark still in "regular" use by a pro team. Perhaps "home of." Rickwood Field in Birmingham is older than Bosse, Wrigley and Fenway. It is no longer the HOME of the Birmingham Barons, but they do play a regular Southern League game there REGULARly - once a year, on a Wednesday afternoon in late May or early June. That's "regular," and that's "pro."  Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.188.56.42 (talk) 19:14, 21 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Reduced capacity

[edit]

Is there a source for the seating capacity being reduced in 1958 from 7,180 to 5,181? I've found two sources using the larger number much more recently:

  • Goldberg-Strassler, Jesse (October 24, 2012). "Bosse Field / Evansville Otters". Ballpark Digest. August Publications. Retrieved September 21, 2025.
  • "Wild Things, Otters ready for one-game playoff". Observer-Reporter. Washington, Pennsylvania. September 6, 2014. Retrieved September 21, 2025.
