Bio box

Here's what the community thinks about them. Many if not most established wikipedians are unhappy about the clutter. Anyway, WP:IBT instructs us to follow it except "where common sense and the occasional exception will improve an article". I don't see how the repetition of the text in a separate box placed in a corner of the page improves the page. Please explain your intentions. --Ghirla^-трёп- 17:43, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

"The community" reads as one guy trying to push some agenda from 2.5 years ago! If you feel strongly about them, maybe you could relist the template at TfD...? Lugnuts (talk) 17:49, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

42 people is not exactly "one guy". Each time the template was listed for deletion opinions were split pretty much down the middle. I can see no consensus for pushing it into every article by hook or by crook. --Ghirla^-трёп- 20:52, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
