Avangard (hypersonic glide vehicle)

[edit]

The article contains various references to the Avangard (hypersonic glide vehicle). They're mostly poorly written and unsourced.

The Avangard article covers the subject well enough with plenty of WP:reliable sources. What I can't work out is how much of that article to insert into this article. I think maybe just "significant dates" but I'm uncertain.

Something needs doing - what? Any thoughts from anyone?

The title

[edit]

User @Hosortyr: renamed this page without comment in 2022. I cannot find any reference to this term before that date. There are a few references today, but they invariably include material from this article (or are complete copies), like this one and this one. Google Books turns up exactly one use of the term, in a Chinese book consisting entirely of Wiki content.

I do not believe this is a real term, and I believe its use in the title is polluting the internet. Unless someone can demonstrate this is widely used in the past, and more widely used that boost-glide which is what this article is actually about, then I'm going to change it back to Tom1's version shortly.
