ספר החיים in the Hebrew Bible?
[edit]I was confused by ספר החיים. I am very much a beginner at Hebrew, so I may just be confused, but I didn't find ספר החיים in the Hebrew Bible and I didn't find the phrase "Book of Life" in the 3 English translations of the Hebrew Bible that I searched.
Can anyone help me find these references? Where is this phrase used in Jewish texts?Jonathan.robie (talk) 22:05, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
"In apocrypha" section
[edit]Perhaps an editor could remove or move the references to the Book of Revelation and Daniel because those books are considered by both Catholics and Protestants as canonical (i.e. non-apocryphal). Perhaps the title/author to this section incorrectly conflates "apocrypha" (non-canonical) with "apocalyptic" (describing catastrophic events). Both the Book of Revelation and Daniel are clearly apocalyptic but not apocryphal. TrueBlueLou (talk) 19:25, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
