A "boner" is a kind of kitchen knife. It's not even slang.

- I once had a classmate who told a funny story about his grandmother receiving one of those kitchen knives for Christmas, holding it up, and saying "I’ve got a six-inch boner!" seemingly unaware of any alternative meanings of the phrase. is the same as the one here. All three parts are covered. Ironic I think. But anyway. I say we try to clean up the page and follow the history of the word instead of limiting ourselves to its definition.

- It was used in the context of blunder, but I suspect that the writers were aware of the more suggestive definition, otherwise, why would they use the word so many times? [edit]I added "extreme interest in a person thing or idea" to the slang section because of statements like:
