A fact from BokHee An appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 17 July2026(check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that BokHee An's character Nurse BokHee, the longest-running recurring character on Grey's Anatomy, only spoke once during the TV show's first 14 seasons?
Adequate sourcing: - Per WP:BUSTLE, that source (used for ALT2) is only "marginally reliable". It would be great if you can find a more reliable source for this, since ALT2 is definitely interesting. The Shondaland website might be considered a primary source since it's a website by Grey's Anatomy's showrunner Shonda Rhimes.
Interesting: - I would clarify what Grey's Anatomy is (i.e. a television show).
QPQ: None required.
Overall: @Jishara: Nice work on this article. As a longtime Grey's viewer, I'm surprised that Nurse BokHee hasn't had an article till now. Just a few issues to address above, and this is good to go. Epicgenius (talk) 18:30, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
Epicgenius thanks for checking this! I've updated as best as I can - shondaland website is the only source I can find for Alt1, but i've changed Alt and Alt2 sources. I've also clarified what Grey's Anatomy is! Jishara (talk) 02:51, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
– Jishara, re the line: making her one of the longest-serving actors on Grey's Anatomy and her character the longest-serving recurring character. Is there a source which says this explicitly? The source listed at the end of this sentence mentions her long tenure but doesn't say longest. Poking around the article I see other sources which note her long tenure and that she's been there since the pilot, and one could then deduce she's the longest-serving actor. But we should have a source which says this explicitly and can be cited on that sentence. Best, Vermont (🐿️—🏳️🌈) 02:16, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Vermont - i've cited a source that states she's the longest serving supporting character, and two other sources are cited that both list her as one of the longest-serving actors on the show. Let me know if that works! Jishara (talk) 18:52, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Leeky. Jishara, the issue isn't the reference per se, but rather the hook fact in ALT2 is not in the article. The article reads "However, she has had very few lines in the show" and "... addressing anti-Asian racism in one of her rare speaking lines, saying "We are American. Your face is American." to Lynn Chen's character". This is not "only spoke once". Season 14 isn't even mentioned in the article as it currently exists.—Chris Woodrich (talk) 00:12, 29 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
