Ongoing vandalism

[edit]

Could we please get a lock on this...it's clear that people are going to keep editing it in a derogative manner.

Microsoft Bob

[edit]

Is there any particular reason why Microsoft Bob is a See Also as opposed to a main link on the page? ~Linuxerist L / T 03:05, 4 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Probably not. Fixed that and removed also other duplicates. Talamus 23:25, 5 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bob page rearrangement

[edit]

This page could probably use some sort of grouping, like:

Thanks :) Except I do not think that Mr. J. R. "Bob" Dobbs is a real person, moved that one... Talamus 15:55, 13 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
A recharged effort toward the same organization that User:Talamus and User:Nekura described above. It looks a lot better now. We'll see whether vandalism or simple stupidity tears it down again. Lumbercutter 02:42, 10 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Missing sections

[edit]

I noticed that there are a couple of sections that have disapeared from this article, specifically "Other uses", and was wondering if they were removed for a reason, or if they were lost in a revert with all the vandalism going on? I can't find anything in the history about it. Thanks --Nekura 13:26, 24 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Almighty Bob

[edit]

I'll go ahead and add Almighty Bob, a concept from H2G2, to the list. Slartibartfast1992 02:23, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bob (Song by Primes)

Need to add a link for "Bob" - the song by Primus off their Pork Soda album released in 1993. Lupeyg2 (talk) 19:59, 7 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Real people?

[edit]

Why is there no section about real people (famous politicians, musics, actors, etc.), but there's still a section about fictional Bobs? I suppose there's a reason, could someone help? --GetFresh (talk) 20:35, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

It looks like a section on real Bobs got whacked last October. The rationale was that very few real people are known as just plain "Bob", which may be a reasonable argument, given that the point of a dab page is not to be an index page for all things Bob (in this case), but to disambiguate all pages that could reasonably be named just "Bob".--NapoliRoma (talk) 23:43, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
I see, thank you for the explanation. --GetFresh (talk) 10:09, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Should Killer BOB from Twin Peaks be added? He seems to be a pretty important television Bob. Aheartypancakedinner (talk) 23:33, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
