When did Munfine become Baile Coimin?? BC was written down in 1607 but the "placenames database" lists the town of the blessing and the town of the Comyns. Locally BC is said to mean the town of Saint Kevin. Kevin has been spelt Cóemgen in the past, and now Caoimhghin.
