'Repellent' book
[edit]The Bibliography section, and only that section, makes reference to a 2023 book supposedly published by Skyhorse titled Repellent: Philip Roth, #MeToo, and Me. However, a search of the Skyhorse website does not show such a book. It is not on Amazon or any other bookseller, and I see no sourcing referencing it. I have to assume that the book was not actually published, and that it most likely was an early working title of Bailey's 2025 memoir, which is on Amazon, is on Skyhorse and received attention in the press. In light of its apparent nonpublication I'm removing it from the Bibliography section. Coretheapple (talk) 14:41, 26 October 2025 (UTC)

User Informationactionratio had previously removed the book from the article in revision 1141464943 with the explanation: "
I've gotten rid of Repellent, since the book has disappeared from places like Amazon and iTunes, and seems to have been canned.
" However, another user immediately restored the entry in the article with the explanation:"It still exists"
. Given the similar subject and same publisher, it is fair to assume that this was the working title. Or at the very least this work is the same work for which the Skyhorse deal was secured.
