Chad Smalley

[edit]

The statement that bassist Chad Smalley is the son of Nobel laureate Richard Smalley was tagged with {{cn}}, so I've added as a source the elder Smalley's obituary, published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, which mentions his son Chad. Now, it's possible that this Houston-based professor had a son who just happened to share a name with an unrelated Houston-based musician, but this seems unlikely. Since the source doesn't mention Blaggards, or even Chad's profession, it probably wouldn't pass muster for DYK or higher article honors, but it at least strongly suggests the relationship isn't just a piece of freak vandalism. --BDD (talk) 23:33, 19 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
